Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 6, 2026
AppDepot ("AppDepot", "we", "us", or "our") operates a family of software-as-a-service products, including PlumbQuote AI, ServiceIQ, and other current and future AppDepot applications (each, a "Service" and together, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our customers (the businesses and individuals who create accounts) and, where a Service processes information about your own customers or end users, to that information as well. By using the Services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, organization name, and authentication credentials.
Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our systems; Stripe handles card data under its own security and privacy practices. We retain limited billing records such as your plan, subscription status, invoices, and the last four digits or brand of a card as provided by Stripe.
Content and configuration. We store the data you enter to operate a Service — for example, in PlumbQuote AI: your service catalog, pricing, branding, and the quote, lead, and booking records generated through your public pages.
End-user information. Some Services let you collect information from your own customers (for example, a homeowner's name, contact details, address, uploaded photos, and quote selections). You are the controller of that information; we process it on your behalf to provide the Service.
Usage and device data. We collect log data, analytics events, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser information, and referral/UTM parameters to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; to process subscriptions and payments; to authenticate users and secure accounts; to send transactional messages (such as receipts, trial reminders, and payment notices); to provide support; to analyze usage and develop new features; and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you or your end users provide to advertise to you.
3. Service providers and subprocessors
We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf under contract, only as needed to provide the Services. These currently include: Stripe (payment processing and billing), Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), and our cloud hosting provider (application hosting). Each processes data under its own terms and security measures.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, and security of AppDepot, our users, or the public. If AppDepot is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close an account we delete or de-identify information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business records such as billing history.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security in our databases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Account owners can update much of their information directly in the Services. To make a request or ask a question, contact us using the details below. Where a Service processes end-user information on your behalf, requests from those end users should be directed to you as the controller; we will assist you as reasonably required.
8. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
We operate in the United States and may process and store information there and in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Services you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
